What is GHOSTOBER?
Ghostober is a month-long celebration of creativity and Halloween festivity, wherein anyone is invited to follow along with a publicly available list of prompts for creating ghostly artwork and sharing it on Instagram with the hashtags #GHOSTOBER2021 and #GHOSTOBER
History of Ghostober
In 2020 I decided to put a spin on the popular Inktober trend, where a list of daily art prompts are shared for the month of October. My take was Ghostober, a list of daily prompts for ghostly artwork in which anyone could follow along to create with me as I made new ghost art every day.
It all culminated in a limited book release, which I independently designed and published via my website. The book also featured several submissions from readers and followers like you! Best of all, it sold-out on presale and every subsequent restock (thank you so much to everyone who supported that project!)
What year did GHOSTOBER start? 2020 was the year I launched Ghostober – and I’m happy to be continuing this year!
